The experiment

The experimetn, Ok, got the weekend to paint, I didn't get either the napoleonic or AWI figs today, which sucked, so my plan of painting 250 figs during saturday is off. And in retrospect probebly wouldn't have gotten that much painting done, mabye close to 200.
But that means my other plan is on, IF I do get one of my orders tomorro, I will try and hit 400 before I go to bed on sunday.
This is counting the whole weekend with the figs I've painted to day even if those are not for the two main projects..
I've painted 60 today, and it was easy very light painting, did one or two colors then hung on the net for a few minutes and did another color ect. I did use a stop watch just to see how long it took. 3 hours and 10 minutes for 60 figs 20 of which were Cav.
So lets see what happens

Blimey that is good going.
I hope my stuff arrives tomorrow.

Thanks, the Cav didn't turn out to bad, got a lot of detail on the, no shadeing or highlighting tho.
But I got a nice thin stripe/border on the saddle blanket. nice white gloves with a thin stripe of blue on the faceings.

I do not shade or highlight my rank and file. Not worth it if you have thousands of figures, do on the commanders though.

Might have to try that on a commander.

What is kinda disapointing tho, you need like 10-15 000 unpainted figs to make a real pile of them.
I mean I can hold like 500 in the palm of my hand.
So even if I get the 1000ish from you tomorrow and the 1600 from baccus it still not realy a pile of figs.

ah but when based and put out in formation they will take up more space than you think.
