Adler ACW

Ok, I've been wanting to do 6mm ACW ever since I started with the whole 6mm thing
First I was thinking of useing Irreuglar, but learned they came 6 to 30mm and not 6 to 20mm as their napoleoinc range.
So I now had an excuse to try out adler.

So far I've painted 170(only 140 on the pics)
130 Rebs 40 Union, I've decided to not paint the Fedrals until I get a better sky blue, for the trousers, as the paint I have is to glowy.

One 400 man(40 fig) Union regiment gets ready to give a volley at 1000(100) Rebs

More closeups

This is 3 regiments worth of rebs, I only need to finish baseing the last and the GB Anderson brigade will be done

The Union regiment
As it turnes out I can get 10 adler on a 20mm frontage in 2 lines.
So it kinda becomes 1:10 scale.
They are made for Couldn't hit an elephant, but can probebly work fine for guns at gettysburg

Yes probebly, mostly because ACW are easy to paint, and the figs are realy nice

They look good for 6mm's especially the Reb variety in poses. I like your terrain set up too. That cornfield in the corner looks cool. Where'd you get those rail fences in the first two shots ?
